Games and apps,
crafted end to end.
MW Design makes arcade games and wellbeing apps for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, Apple Watch, Android, Wear OS and Meta Quest. Designed, coded and scored in-house since 2016.
Everything we’ve made
Arcade shooters, a platformer, a strategy game and an anti-stress toolkit, across nine platforms.
XGalaga HD
The 1998 classic rebuilt from the ground up, with every sprite rendered on your own device. One purchase covers all five Apple platforms.
TouchRelief
Somewhere to put your hands when your head is busy. 120 live-simulated textures, 3D fidget gadgets, breathing, sleep and a watch companion.
i-Bomb
Clear every bomb, chain the lit ones and fly. Twenty-four hand-built stages across two tours, with a thirteen-track original soundtrack.
Chroma Vector
Ten levels of relentless waves and boss fights over circuit-board terrain, drawn by a custom Metal renderer written from scratch.
XGalaga
A faithful port of the 1998 X11 classic, with its original flight paths, sprites and sounds. It even plays on your wrist with the Digital Crown.
XGalaga VR
The arcade classic, surrounding you. All fifteen waves floating in a living galaxy, a boss every tenth wave. Deep space or your own room.
Cat Escape
Dash through the city, dodge the chaos and collect the loot. One-handed endless running built for your phone and your wrist.
Modern Domination
Tanks, drones and cruise missiles across six battle theatres. Three AI difficulties, fair dice always, and it plays offline.
One studio. Every screen.
MW Design is an independent studio run by Mike Wickens. It started in 2016 with Wear OS arcade titles and custom smartwatch faces, and today ships native games and apps across the Apple ecosystem, Android and Meta Quest.
Every title is built from the engine up for the hardware it runs on, from the Digital Crown on a watch to a 4K television or a headset.
Native on every platform
iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV and Apple Watch from one purchase where we can, with touch, keyboard, controller, Siri Remote and Digital Crown all supported.
Technology you can see
XGalaga HD renders every sprite on device. TouchRelief simulates every texture live. Chroma Vector runs on a Metal renderer written from scratch.
Made in-house
Design, code, level building and original soundtracks, from i-Bomb’s thirteen tracks to XGalaga HD’s score.
Respect for players
Our paid Apple titles are buy once: no ads, no in-app purchases, no accounts and no tracking.
